Privacy¶

Hosting on GitHub Pages¶
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P Kelly Jr St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, GitHub processes the data needed to deliver it and to protect it from abuse, including your IP address, date and time, the address opened and your browser. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and reachable site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). GitHub is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More in GitHub's privacy statement. We have no access to these logs.
Fonts and images¶
Fonts and badges are downloaded when the site is built and served from here. Your browser does not connect to Google or any other provider for them.
Storage in your browser¶
The site remembers a few settings in your browser's local storage: the colour scheme, the tab you picked (such as Spoolman or FilaMan) and, on the Recommended printers page, the Amazon shop you picked. These values never leave your browser, and you can delete them at any time in your browser's settings. They only serve the function you chose yourself (Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG).
To suggest a shop, the site also reads your browser's time zone and language. This, too, happens only in your browser; nothing is sent.
Embedded content¶
The Wiring page embeds an interactive diagram from Cirkit Designer. When you open that page, your browser loads it directly from app.cirkitdesigner.com, which tells the provider your IP address. The Cirkit Designer privacy policy applies.
Links to other sites¶
Links lead to GitHub, Discord, Ko-fi, MakerWorld, AliExpress and Amazon, among others. Only when you click one do you leave this site, and there the privacy policy of that provider applies.
Your rights¶
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data, to data portability and to object to processing (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Write to the email address above. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
